Description of Recipe

A delicious simple treat with a surprising tangy bite!!! Use and a small daily or for a party snack, if do not like the spice you can add your favorite spice, ginger, rosemary, etc.

Ingredients:

 

Yield: 4 cups
2 cups Walnuts
2 cups Pecans
2 – 3.5 oz. packages 90% Cocoa Supreme Dark
1/8 tsp Piri Piri,
1 TBL Monk Fruit
Hickory Himalayan Smoked Sea Salt – to taste (Found it on Etsy)

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Roast Nuts in oven on baking sheet for 10 minutes, remove from oven let cool.
In a double broiler melt chocolate then add piri piri & monk fruit (grounded in spice grinder).
While chocolate is heating spread a piece of wax paper on a baking sheet, once chocolate is ready then individually dip nuts into chocolate leaving a 3rd of the nut uncovered and place on wax paper to cool and dry.
On the nuts that have broken up you can create clusters by putting nuts all the nuts in the chocolate and then spread out on the wax papers and separating them with a fork into small clusters (bit size).
Place baking sheet in frig for 30 mins and then store in an airtight container return to the refrigerator.
